That followed the October release of the new Army Operating Concept, Win in a Complex World, which discusses how warfighting capabilities combine to fulfill larger missions - that is, how future Army forces, as part of joint, interorganizational, and multinational efforts, will operate to accomplish campaign objectives and protect U.S. In May, the Army released its updated Army Vision, Strategic Advantage in a Complex World, to be the intellectual foundation for its efforts to prevent conflict, shape security environments, and win wars. Over the past year, the Army has refined this strategy and its underpinnings here’s how they all fit together. It is our method to prepare the Army for the complexities of the global security environment, both now and in the future. The Army is meeting this challenge - to change itself and improve land power capabilities - through a strategy called Force 2025 and Beyond. It is therefore imperative, now more than ever, to field a ready and modern Army that is innovative and adaptive and that remains the bedrock of the Joint Force. Global instability, coupled with the reduction in military capabilities of many of our allies, has emboldened potential adversaries and magnified the risk to U.S. Why? Well, despite the movie's shortcomings, it should be said that the production value was quite good, and it showed that the film makers actually had their hearts in the right place for this project. The velocity of instability continues to increase worldwide: ISIL and terrorism in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen anarchy and extremism in North Africa Russian annexation of Crimea and the use of unconventional land forces in Ukraine provocation by North Korea and various emergencies requiring complex humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts. I am rating "Battlefield 2025" a generous three out of ten stars.
It just felt like something taken out of a poor man's Sci-Fi home video. Think a mixture of Jason Voorhees and the Predator, except the alien creature in "Battlefield 2025" lacked everything crucial from both these characters to make it an interesting or noteworthy creature on the screen. No, this was a creature (or alien) design that was so stereotypical and generic that it was actually cringeworthy to watch. Just wow! And that is not meant as a good and astounding wow. The actors and actresses were doing okay enough with whatever little material they had readily available from the script and storyline.
The acting in the movie was adequate, taking into consideration the type of movie that it is, its premise and its budget.
In fact, so much to the point where it was just becoming less than interesting to actually keep up with the things that transpired.
And truth be told, the storyline was generic and predictable. As such, I felt like I was tricked by an interesting cover/poster and ended up watching something else entirely. First of all, the title of the movie made absolutely no sense in comparison to the storyline and what actually transpired on the screen. But still, the movie did have an interesting enough synopsis that it could prove to be entertaining. Well, granted I knew that this was not going to be movie experience of grand nor epic proportions.
